This website is operated by Adept Expeditions. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Adept Expeditions. Adept Expeditions offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.
RESERVATIONS & PAYMENTS
Reservations must be made by completing our online Registration Form on our website www.adeptexpeditions.com
After your payment is completed, you will be taken to a simple questionnaire to register your reservation. If are not properly re-directed or do not receive it please contact us Support@AdeptExpeditions.com
All trips require a deposit. The deposit is non-refundable. The deposite is non-transferable.
The deposit will confirm your reservation until 70 days prior to departure date, at which time the balance of the trip is due. If the balance is not paid in full by the due date, we will regard the booking as cancelled. Your deposit will not be returned to you.
To insure your reservation final payment will be due 70 days prior to departure from your country. It is the responsibility of you, the traveler (or agent) to determine that final payment reaches us on time.
Our preferred method of payment is by US check made out to Adept Expeditions. Alternatively you may make payment by bank transfer. Any fees charged will be the responsibility of the you. Alternatively, you may pay by credit card via Stripe or Paypal. There is a non refundable 5% + $5.00 processing fee for credit card, Stripe and Paypal payments.
Registrations will be accepted after the final payment is due (70 days prior to departure date), but they are on request and subject to availability at the time of booking. In the case of late bookings, full payment will be required upon registration. Payments made less than 30 days before departure date must be made with certified check, money order, credit card, or a direct to bank wire. Bookings made within 30 days of departure date, will require full and final payment immediately upon booking. No booking will be considered until final deposit is received by the Adept Expeditions.
After submitting the online Registration Form you will receive immediate confirmation that it was submitted successfully. We will be in touch with you to confirm receipt of your registration within 48 hours, and your registration will be considered confirmed once we have received your deposit. Upon receipt of deposit we will email you the welcome email with pre departure information that will include visa/passport requirements, insurance information, health information, recommended reading list, clothing suggestions, and other travel tips. Your final Hotel & Operator Contact List will be emailed to you approx. 10 days to 2 weeks prior to departure (note: this is not applicable to all programs).
GROUP SIZE AND TRIP COSTS
The advertised cost for each tour is based on an established minimum level of participation. In the event that we do not have the minimum number of participants we reserve the right to:
- Cancel the expedition tour. You will be notified as soon as possible. In the event of a tour cancellation, you will receive a full refund or you may transfer to another trip.
There is a $50 USD fee for late payments.
The single supplement is for those who would like to secure a private room throughout the tour, at the indicated additional price. An early registration will facilitate this process.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Note: Should the trip fail to achieve minimum participation, Adept Expeditions reserves the right to cancel the tour and refund any deposits received. Adept Expeditions will offer participants the opportunity to apply these funds to a similar revised tour program offered by their suppliers within 12 months of tour cancellation.

Due to high preparation costs all cancellations will incur the following fees:
- All Cancellations will incur a penalty of $1000 per person;
- Cancellations received 45 days or less before day one of official tour itinerary will receive no refund. No refund will be made for transfers, add-ons, additional hotel accomodations, city tours or any other services (including meals, accommodations or transportation) voluntarily not taken.
REVISIONS AND/OR CHANGES
There will be no charge for an initial revision. There will be a charge of $50 USD for each additional revision. This charge is over and above any charges imposed by airlines, hotels, and/or ground operators.
Participants are responsible for their own personal travel and liability insurance.
We strongly recommend purchasing Travel Insurance (Cancellation and Medical Insurance) to protect against cancellation fees and additional travel expenses that may incur before, after, or during the trip.
Travel insured international offers insurance for trip cost, trip cancellation & interruption, and pays for loss due to unforeseen circumstance, death, injury, or illness to you or a member of your family. It also includes coverage for missed connections due to weather, pays for lost deposits due to the financial default of the airline, the tour operator, or cruise line. It pays for baggage delays, travel delays, medical expenses, and emergency assistance.
Tour costs and what they include are listed on the itinerary for each tour. Unless indicated otherwise on the tour itinerary, the tour fee includes: accommodations in double occupancy, meals as indicated (any foods or beverages not included in the program and purchased by you will be at additional cost. Tour price includes only foods and beverages that are provided to the entire group), all transportation during the tour, sightseeing as specified in the itinerary, entrance fees for parks and other areas, and services of a tour leader. The tour operator reserves the right to substitute hotels of similar category. Tour costs are based on group rates and no refunds will be given for unutilized services.
Items not included in our costs:
- Visa and passport charges
- Departure taxes
- Extra meals not included in itinerary
- Items of a personal nature (i.e. laundry, drinks, telephone calls, personal clothing)
- Emergency evacuation
- Personal travel insurance of any kind
- PCR test if needed
- Any item that is not specified as being included
A valid passport must be held by each passenger travelling internationally. Some countries require that your passport is valid for 6 months from your return date. Visas are required for entry into some countries. Please check with your local Embassy or Consulate of the country being visited, to learn about Visa requirements for your Nationality. Obtaining Visas is at the passenger’s own expense.
TOUR DATES, DELAYS, AND ROUTE CHANGES
Since schedules are determined up to a year-and-a-half in advance, changes in dates may have to be made. It is also possible that route changes, delays, or postponements may become necessary. This could happen due to inclement weather, political restrictions, or any other cause. In this event, you will have no right to a refund and Adept Expeditions and its suppliers will have no obligation in respect to such changes, except as follows:
If the land content of a tour is delayed, we will arrange, at no additional expense to you, accommodation for you for the duration of the delay.
If the scheduled place of departure, of the land content of the tour, is changed, we will arrange, at your expense, substitute means of transportation from the original point of departure to the rescheduled point of departure.
If the scheduled duration of the land content of the tour is shortened more than 24 hours, we will make a refund based on the number of complete days by which the trip was shortened.
Adept Expeditions and its suppliers reserves the right to cancel any tour prior to departure, in which case any payment you have made to Adept Expeditions will be refunded in full. You will not be entitled to make any further claims for compensation or damages, for any loss, consequential damage, expenses, loss of time, or inconvenience which may result from such cancellation.
All services described herein are organized by Adept Expeditions and/or its suppliers. Notice is hereby given that all arrangements made on behalf of customers are made by the organizers on the sole condition that the organizers shall not be held responsible for any injury, death, accident, delay, loss, damage, or irregularity which may be occasioned through acts of any company and/or persons engaged in carrying out arrangements and services described herein or otherwise in connection herewith.
The information contained in this site is correct to the best of the organizer’s knowledge, but the organizer accepts no liability for any inaccuracies therein.
The organizers reserve the right to alter any itinerary or service at any time without penalty to the organizer. Any additional expense or cancellation costs shall be borne by the customer.
The organizers reserve the right to withdraw or refuse any service to any customer at the discretion of the organizers. Payment of deposit is taken as acknowledgment of and agreement to the above items.
AIR CARRIER RESPONSIBILITY
Tour and guide services, hotel accommodations, restaurants, and all other services except carriage by air as provided by the airlines are furnished by the contractors who are independent and do not act for, or on behalf of, the airlines.
The acceptance of this order of participation in the tour, by the passenger or his assignees, shall be deemed to be consent to an acceptance by such person(s) of the above and of any further conditions, and that the airline shall not be liable or responsible in any way whatsoever for the accuracy of any representations regarding such tour services, nor shall the airlines be liable or responsible for any inconvenience, loss, damage, or injury arising out of or in connection with such tour services other than its liability under the ticket and tariff provision for carriage by air furnished by it.
CONSUMER DISCLOSURE NOTICE
Adept Expeditions and/or its agents act only in capacity as agents for the passenger in all matters connected with hotel accommodations, sight-seeing tours and transportation, whether by air, rail, bus, motorcar, boat or any other means and as agent holds itself free of responsibility for any damage occasioned by any cause. Adept Expeditions and or its agents will not be responsible for any damages or expenses or inconveniences caused by late departures or change of schedule, strikes or to their conditions, nor will be responsible for loss or damage to baggage or any of the passenger’s belongings. All prices quoted are correct at time of printing, include the cost of operation of the tours, and are subject to currency and airfare changes. Adept Expeditions and affiliates, officers, employees, servants and agents shall not be responsible for personal injury, death, accident, delay, loss, damage, irregularity or property damage as a result of force majeure or for any other losses or damages incurred by any person or tour participants caused by any delay or change of itinerary or arising out of any act, including, but not limited to, any act of negligence, any person acting for or on behalf of Adept Expeditions for transportation, accommodation or sight-seeing provider or any other person or entity rendering any of these services or accommodations being offered in connection with these tours.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK
The passenger understands that during the course of the trip certain risks and dangers may occur, including but not limited to the hazards of traveling in mountainous forces of nature. The passenger agrees to assume all risks associated with the journey and agrees that no liability will attach to the company or its outfitters, employees or agents, or to any member of the tour group in respect of death, personal injury, illness or delay of the passenger, or for any loss of or damage to the property of the passenger during the course of the trip, howsoever caused. The company reserves the right to decline, to accept, or to retain any person as a member of any party at any time. Catch up fees are the responsibility of the passenger in the event of a missed flight or transport to the start point of the trip.
WAIVER OF RESPONSIBILITY
By registering for this tour you agree to our terms, deposit conditions and waiver. Adept Expeditions, its agents and/or all of our tour facilitators have worked diligently to make all of the arrangements for our expedition together, however, Adept Expeditions, its agents and/or all of our tour facilitators will not be held liable for delays, theft, damage, injury, or any other irregularities that may occur during the course of this tour. We will not be held liable for any changes or delays in airline schedules or missed connections; injury, loss, or damage to persons or property; additional expenses resulting from changes in exchange rates, tariffs, or itinerary; any transportation issues or problems with vehicles utilized on the tour; additional expenses incurred due to illness, weather conditions, protests, war, terrorism, quarantine, or other causes; and losses due to cancellations not subject to our terms and conditions.
