Chichen Itza

Chichen Itza is one of the most preserved archaeological sites in Mexico, and in all of Mesoamerica. It is also one of the most popular. Located just two hours from both Cancun and Merida, the site is often crowded with tour groups eager to take selfies in front of the iconic El Castillo (The Castle), also known as the Temple of Kukulcan.
