This product represents optional participation in a day tour to Tanis and Bubastis, two of Egypt’s most significant—and least-visited—archaeological sites in the eastern Nile Delta.

Tanis and Bubastis were once major political and religious centers of ancient Egypt, yet remain largely absent from standard tour itineraries due to distance and logistical constraints. This optional add-on allows participants to explore monumental ruins, fallen colossi, and temple precincts associated with royal authority, cult activity, and regional power in the Delta.

This experience includes one (1) night of hotel accommodation and is not included in any base tour price unless explicitly stated.

The Experience

This add-on extends beyond the traditional Egypt circuit, requiring additional travel time and coordination to reach the Nile Delta region.

An overnight stay is included to allow for appropriate pacing, early site access, and reduced travel strain. On-site interpretation places both Tanis and Bubastis within their archaeological, historical, and cultural context.

Final scheduling and site access are subject to permissions, site conditions, and on-the-ground logistics.
